Houtskär

  Niko's parents have an old fishing farm in Houtskär where we spend some time around the year. 

  The sea is very important to both of us and living there by the sea is kind of state of mind. Also our dogs love to be there. Even Iida 

  who doesn't usually want to get her feet wet and dirty. Eemeli and Iida are simply hooked by a feeling to run free, to chase birds and

  fish (yes, even in November..), to dig moles and to relax in sauna in the evening and to sleep by the fire.

 Eemeli and Iida have several nice places to observe the neighbourhood in Houtskär.

 When we are in Houtskär, everythings allowed.. At least Eemeli and Iida think so.. ; ) In fact they listen and obey very well there. They probably know that it's the condition for their freedom there. Although Iida still keeps testing us with this sometimes.

 Iida didn't come in..                                                  After long winter it was great to play on grass.                                         

Summer holidays -06

This summer we all loved having our holidays in Houtskär! Even Iida remembered to listen all the time and so we all could relax totally (we have seen some Vipers there past years, which makes us a bit worried about the dogs, because one bite can easily kill a jack russell).
